With its tree-lined village, historic gardens and friendly ambiance, Genesee Country Village & Museum, provides an exquisite setting for any wedding, large or small.

Whether you choose a church or garden wedding or celebrate your vows in a unique setting like the Great Meadow Gazebo, your wedding will be as distinctive as it is memorable.

The Brooks Grove Church is located on the Village Green. This beautifully simple Greek Revival church was built in 1844 in the quiet Livingston County hamlet of Brooks Grove. Now, 160 years later, the clean lines and soft colors of the large sanctuary provide a lovely setting for weddings of all sizes and styles.

Amenities of this site include:

  • Seating capacity of up to 175 people
  • A double aisle for both a dramatic entrance and exit
  • An operating 1840’s pump organ
  • A rear choir loft/balcony—ideal location for your musicians, vocalist and/or photographer
  • A long exterior walkway and front hall, both perfect for receiving your guests and their best wishes.
  • The original church bell, which can be rung to announce to villagers and visitors alike that your new life begins!

St. Feehan’s Church stands at Maple and Church Streets, just southwest of the Village Green.

This small Catholic church was built in 1854 by families in Chili, then a rural farming community. Charming and intimate, this chapel is available for all denominations as well as civil ceremonies.

  • A chapel setting that glows with handcrafted woodwork and stained glass windows
  • A traditional center aisle
  • An operating 1840’s pump organ
